For years, my family faced endless skin troubles - from inflammation and acne to hives, dermatitis, melasma, and perioral dermatitis. I was no exception, grappling with my own sensitive skin, melasma, contact dermatitis, and episodes of adult acne. The emotional and physical toll was significant.

We tried all of the recommended oral and topical products. Sometimes we saw marginal improvements, but nothing seemed to deliver consistent, lasting results.

I thought that there must be a better way! Driven by my background in science, food, and nutrition, holistic culinary arts, training as a holistic facialist, and cosmetic chemist license, I began to explore a wholeistic approach to skincare. 

In the process, I created skin-trinsic products where every ingredient has a healthful purpose. This approach made the greatest difference for my family, and it never stopped working. And so, The Statement was born! 

As a family-owned business with firsthand experience in diverse skin concerns, The Statement is on a mission to promote skin health for all. Our ethos is delivering products that boost wellness from the outside-in, benefiting both people and the planet.
